Crazy Week

It’s 10 PM of Sunday. I can’t believe this week almost comes to an end. It’s been a very crazy week for me. I was so busy at work that i’m very tired. The last time my job pushed me over the limit i got really really sick. This time, i am tired but i ain’t no get sick (good to know my body has upgraded its immune system!). Well i did take lots and lots of vitamins and it’s not only once i have to scrub my body with pain-relief-oils. That’s why I’m pretty surprised that i survive this week healthily in one piece. It’s all good now. All thanks to God’s grace.

In fact all the tiredness i had is nothing, nothing compared with the new experiences i got.

This week i learn SO MANY new things. All the tiredness are paid. I’m so satisfied.

Pardon my laziness and my beauty sleep schedule, i can’t post a long describable post like i used to do every the end of the week. But i don’t mind jotting down 10 great things that colored my week beautifully.  10 reasons why really should be grateful of what i have now. And the next time, if i whine about how miserable my life is, i know, by only reading this post, i’ll be fine.

- reading this Forbes article and being even more sure that what i do now is my passion. Just so you know my passion is learning. I always want a job that could make me one step smarter than everyone else, help me expanding my knowledge and giving others feedback as well.  At this point i can say that i’m learning through my job. That’s a good thing. :)

- having fun with the guys at work. We have this tradition to celebrate a special date, like Valentine’s or Kartini’s Day. We have to dress up based on the theme given. The last time on Valentine’s, the theme was Black Valentine so we dressed up in black. BUT we still had to show a coquettish Valentine’s touch. What interesting is there’s always a prize whether you win or lose! So just dress up and be crazy! Haha~ Well this time, to celebrate Kartini’s Day, the theme given was Batik. Sounds easy? Not really, because the judgment was not only what you wear, but also your performance. So, it was tough! I placed 6th rank this time. huhu~ But it’s fine i got a new bag! :)

- meeting this guy Bondan Prakoso for an interview. He’s a hunk, enough said. :)

- going to the airport on Wednesday and Thursday to catch Super Junior, but came home empty-handed. Apparently the management didn’t want to risk anything for the show, so they didn’t give a single chance for those ELFs to meet their idols at the airport. How SuJu manage to get out is still a big question and it will remain a mystery. Actually I’m a bit disappointed of myself. I couldn’t stop blaming myself for failing the first airport task. But then a word from my senior calmed me down a little bit, just so i know i’ll do better next time. I’m not gonna disappoint anyone ever again. :)

- watching Super Junior’s Super Show 4 on Friday. It was amazing! This is what i like about Korean popstar’s show, they give us one stop entertainment! Not just singing or dancing, but they were acting, playing, interacting with fans, taking control of the stage, etc.. Four full hours and every second ain’t left in silence. It was a performance worth waited, worth paid and worth remembered. :)

- getting to know SuJu members' character just by watching the show. Hating Siwon because he is too damn... cool! haha~ I mean, he's trying so hard to keep his cool. While his friends didn't mind being ridiculously crazy on stage, he didn't wanna join them. For me, it's super lame. You're a performer, not only a singer! And then this guy Shindong, I'm pretty surprise that he has an amazing dancing talent. It's like, his body shape isn't a problem at all. He danced as smooth as everyone else. Liking Leeteuk just because he fluently said ASSALAMU’ALAYKUM out loud! Soooo... charming!!! FYI, i’m not an ELF, really. I like couple SuJu songs but i never proclaim myself as an ELF. I thought watching their concert would be 100% objective for me but it won’t. They are really smart to capture my heart, especially Leeteuk. :)

- good sleep, enough sleep. Call me crazy but i refused the offer to watch Super Show 4 on Saturday for the sake of good sleep, enough sleep. Yes, i’m about to watch it twice thanks to my job, but i rejected it. Yes, i am crazy. I also refused the opportunity to meet SuJu in person in press conference. Okay, call me nuts. I don’t have enough sleep this week so i miss my bed so much... Yes, i know it’s not a reason, i’m still crazy. You can slap me in the face. :)

- quality time with grandpops who were staying in the house during my mom’s leave to take care of V. They helped me a lot. I wish them health and happiness forever. :)

- mom is coming home just now. I miss her so much. Can’t wait to hear her Europe trip stories! :)

- THE AVENGERS may screen some times NEXT WEEK. I can’t hardly wait for press screening invitation! :)

Airport

Yesterday i went to the airport for dropping off Mom. She’s going to a week-trip around Europe with some sponsors. Few minutes ago she just texted me that she had arrived safely in Vienna, the first stop. The next day she will continue to Prague and then Berlin until April 29th. I couldn’t envy her more.

I had few things in mind that i’d like to share in this post.

The first one is about the airport. I have to admit that i have a thing for airport. It may be one of my favorite place in the world. It makes me happy just by visiting it, either it’s for catching a flight or just dropping off/picking up someone. I don’t know why, i just love the vibe, the traffic, the people, the planes, and everything. I love to see planes taking off and going places. I love to see many kinds of people walking fast, carrying luggage, having farewell, asking for information, or waiting for something. I love to see the information board and read what’s going on, which plane has arrived or or departed or delayed or cancelled. I love to see those names of plane and cities of destination, i feel closer to them just by reading their name on the board. I know that i’d never get bored visiting the airport. :)

The second one is about the convo i had with my dad on our way home. We talked about those countries we has visited. So far, Dad has visitted 12 countries around the world. I’ve only been to 7 countries and then Dad told me it’s important to travel even more and to prioritize going abroad. I asked him, why? Why don’t we prioritize traveling inside Indonesia? He said that it’s different. Going abroad will widen your horizon. You will see things exactly the opposite to the one you used to see in Indonesia and you’ll have your own perspective. Of course knowing and loving things inside your country are important as well, but speaking of expanding knowledge, it won’t help a lot. It will stop at knowing, but not learning. That’s why we must place ourselves as international citizens.

Travel as far as you can,

explore, discover, and learn,

then compare, compare to the things we have here and say thanks, thanks because you know it, thanks because you experience it yourself,

and share, share your knowledge to others,

and keep traveling until no place’s left.

It’s 8 AM in the morning. I’m at the office already. In fact I’ve been here for an hour now.

Kepagian? Tidak. Jalanan lagi bersahabat aja tadi. Gw berangkat normal2 aja, jam 6 pas. Terus tidur di omprengan. Eh, jam 7 udah dibangunin sama supirnya.

“Mbak, Kodel Mbak.”

“He? Udah sampe?”

Mayan dateng pagi, bisa ngeyoutube dulu. Ngumpulin mood buat seharian, sekalian donlot video2 seru untuk menemani hari-hariku. #halah

Gila ya, euphorianya udah kayak premier Harry Potter. Semua orang dress up! Aaarrrgh… gw juga pengennn… gw bukan fangirl Avengers sih. Baca komiknya aja nggak (ga terbit juga di Indonesia -__-). Ikutan heboh juga karena promo-nya gila2an aja. Tapi seru aja kalo ikut2an bergabung di antara fanboy2 itu. Eh, tapi kan gw emang fangirl. Fangirlnya Robert Downey Jr………………. *ngeces*

Oke seperti biasa gw ngeblog dalam poin2 aja.

K-Pop for Me

Jadi beberapa hari yang lalu gw mencoba menganalisis, atau lebih tepatnya mengingat-ingat sejak kapan gw suka K-Pop. Hmmm… Sejak kapan ya? Kalo suka Korea, jelas sejak Full House. Dari situ mulai suka nonton drama-dramanya dan suka artis2nya. Gw inget banget jaman SMA gw sangat mengidolakan Bi Rain (sampe sekarang sih..) dan seorang aktor bernama Jae Hee. Silahkan di Google. Jae Hee ini mantaplah aktingnya. Jago silat kayak Iko Uwais. Tapi kayaknya lebih jago dia deh….

Anyway!! Kog OOT sih jadinya~ Ya, itu baru drama2nya. Terus kalo K-Popnya? Kapan? Hmmm… Gw suka Bi Rain karena aktingnya, bukan lagunya. Gw suka 2NE1 sejak Summer 2011. Gw suka Jay Park juga sejak sekitar Summer 2011. Gw suka SNSD sejak awal 2012. Hmmm.. Jadi kalo suka K-Popnya sejak kapan dong? Karena kalo dipikir2, K-Pop itu kan genre musik baru, jadi harusnya gw melalui sebuah proses adjustment telinga, dari yang tadinya dengerin musik2 mainstream Hollywood jadi dengerin K-Pop. Ga yang tiba2 langsung welcome aja gitu kan? Lha ini tau2 udah banyak aja lagu K-Pop di playlist gw….

Lupa ga sih lo? Karena kalo dipikir2 gw suka K-Pop gara2 kebawa arus aja. Jadi ga yang dari hati gitu lho. Kalo sama artis barat kan ketauan sukanya sejak kapan. Suka Britney sejak SD, gara2 lagu Baby One More Time sering muncul di MTV. Suka Bieber sejak 2008, kuliah semester 3. Suka Gaga sejak 2009, pas clubbing di Singapore. Suka Simple Plan sejak SMP, terus vakum dan baru suka lagi Januari lalu. Nah! Detail kan semuanya!

Tapi kalo K-pop ini kenapa ga terdeteksi gitu sukanya sejak kapan?!

Hmmm…............................

Big Bang

Terus gw sekarang suka Big Bang dong. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Belom suka2 banget sih, baru suka Bad Boy aja gara2 kebanyakan disetel di Channel [V]. “Ih kog seru ya lagunya” sort of things-lah. Terus penasaran, kenalan deh sama personil2nya. Ada G-Dragon, Taeyang, TOP, siapa lagi? Ya, pokoknya merekalah. Big Bang ini gw suka sih dulu, tapi bukan karena lagu2nya, lebih karena kegokilan mereka bikin parodi drama2 Korea itu, lho! Goblok bangetlah bikin parody BBF, Secret Garden, dll.. Ini boyband atau grup lenong sih sebenernya? Hahahaha..

Well.. live long and prosper Big Bang!

Summer is approaching!!!

Summer sebentar lagi datang. Well, when I say summer, it means movie-freakly speaking ya, bukan literally summer=musim panas, itu mah ga usah ditunggu juga udah dateng tiap hari~ Film2 seru mulai berdatangan!! Sudah dimulai dengan apik oleh Battleship, John Carter, Mirror Mirror, dan tentu saja 21 Jump Street.

Naah~ I won’t write any reviews. Tapi yang pasti elo harus nonton 21 Jump Street karena itu lucu banget! Ga sama persis sama versi-nya Johnny Depp sih, malah banyak adegan lebay yang ditambah2in biar filmnya makin lucu. Tapi jatohnya jayus, karena akting Channing Tatum sama Jonah Hill BIASA AJA. Makanya kebantu banget sama script. Sumpah scriptnya lucu banget parah. Terakhir gw ngakak gila kayak gitu, pas nonton Tropic Thunder kali. I posted some of them in my Tumblr.

Sejak ga ada Harry Potter lagi (Uweeeee… Emooooo…) antusiasme menonton film bioskop gw agak berkurang. Tiket2 nonton gretongan dari nyokap terbuang percuma. Selain karena kebanyakan film udah gw tonton duluan di press screening, ga ada temen nonton juga jadi salah satu faktor absennya Seeta di bioskop2 ibukota.

Tapi harus gw akui bahwa gw sedikit excited menyambut summer, karena ada 3 blockbuster yang emang layak ditunggu:

The Avengers. Kenapa film ini layak ditunggu? Err.. duh? Karena ada ROBERT DOWNEY JR laaaaahhhh. Hahaha. That’s the main reason! Robert Downey Jr, sesampah apapun filmnya (macem Due Date ga jelas itu) tetap HARUS KUDU WAJIBUN ditonton. Hohoho. Speaking of om Downey, jadi beberapa hari yang lalu gw baru baca criminal records-nya si om. Ada di IMDb, lo baca aja.

Biasanya ya.. normalnya ya.. baca criminal records seseorang itu bikin kita ilfil sama orang itu. Iya kan? Tapi pas gw baca punya si om, yang ada gw ketawa2 ga jelas sampe level ngakak ga jelas. Terus, gw jadi kagum.

Ga tau yaaa… Pokoknya gw tepok tangan + standing ovasion-lah setelah baca. Gokil banget nih om Downey. Ngobat pas nyetir-lah, kabur dari rehab buat mabok2an-lah,  jualan ganja di penjara-lah. Hanjir-lah!

Gw yakin di penjara si om di-respect-in sama tahanan2 yang lain deh waktu itu. Bayangin aja, keluar masuk penjara dalam 10 taun belakangan cuma karena… bandel!

Om, kog lo sinting banget sih! :D

Tapi gw bangga sama aktor2 Hollywood yang kayak si om. Semua kejadian masa lalunya itu beneran jadi pelajaran gitu lho. I mean, look at him now! A great actor, a generous philanthropist, and most importantly, a devoted husband.

I love you more, om.

I dunno if I could still survive after watching The Avengers.

Alrite, 2^nd reason of why we should watch The Avengers?

Hmm.. untuk membuktikan jerih payah tim promosinya kali ya. I mean, awalnya tuh gw ga pengen banget nonton Avengers, tapi setelah promonya gila2an banget, ya di internet (mereka bisa ngasih trailer/tv spot 2-3x seminggu) plus quotes2 dan gambar2 spoiler yang beredar di Google dan masih banyak lagi. Promo-nya bagus. Apakah filmnya juga bagus? Mari kita hitung mundur sampe tanggal 4 Mei. :)

The Amazing Spider-Man. Why? Because it’s Andrew Garfield dan Emma Stone. That’s it, gw ga peduli ceritanya yang katanya lebih dark, complicated, and twisted. Gw mau nonton film ini karena dua pemeran utamanya mereka. Bahkan tadinya gw lebih menanti2kan film ini daripada The Avengers. Antiklimaks.

The Dark Knight Rises. Why? Err.. Anne Hathaway and JGL, maybe? Haha~ Nah, it’s Christian Bale, one stop hottie too. Gw juga penasaran sama ceritanya sih.. secara yang bikin Nolan gitu kan.. Penggemar film kalo ga nonton film Nolan kesannya gimana gitu yaa… hahaha~

Park Jay Bum is coming to town!!!

Hell to the yeah! Sempet heran kenapa mau dateng ke Indo, emang Jaywalkerz di Indo banyak ya? Ternyata iya! Hahaha~ Kemaren Bone baru saja bertempur untuk mendapatkan tiket showcase yang di Singapore. Alhamdulillah udah dapet. Bangga banget ni anak ngetag-in gw di Facebook.
