Japan

My mom just got back from Japan yesterday and she brought the tastiest seaweed i’ve ever tried. By the time that seaweed touched my tongue, i felt really really content. I love seaweed! God bless the person who swam down into the sea, saw the plant, pulled it out, dried it, ate it, and told the world that it was good!

But no picture since i’m still camera-less... :(

Anyway i was kinda hoping my mom would buy me the original Uniqlo, but she didn’t. She said it was too expensive and she told me it’s cheaper to buy in Singapore.

Japan is a very expensive country indeed.

Once my dad was assigned to go there by his former company. He told me that he had to spend around 7 million (rupiah) for a single dinner with his business partners. What-the-capital F, huh?

Although it’s only cost around a hundred Rupiah for one Yen, doesn’t mean it would be cheaper in everything, ‘cause Japanese pricing also got lots of zeros, not much different like Rupiah here.

I think it's not worth to spend your money in Japan. I mean, in my humble opinion, Japan is not that attractive. The scenery and vibe are just like HongKong or Singapore. The transportation is very expensive and unreachable. The people are chauvinist and bad-spoken English. The tourism spots are so so..

I’m kinda amazed of how my mom spent her ‘pocket money’ in Japan. She only brought about 2-3 millions, but she managed to buy many things. When i asked her how did she do that, she just said: “Planning, my dear. Planning and some tricky strategies.”

It’s easy for her to say, she spent almost half of her lifetime dealing with marketing and business~ As a budget traveler myself, i don’t put Japan as my travel plan priority. Japan is far far under... USA (:-P) My Asia priority still goes to Korea, Taiwan, and India. After that, i wanna try Australia or Europe (Netherland or Greece), and then America, Middle East, and finally Japan.

Whoa! Dream big, yo bitch!

Haha~

Nope.

I’m on my way.

  2. nyokap gw kan dibayarin kantor terus ikut tour, jadi tinggal bawa uang jajan tambahan aja.
nyokap gw belinya souvenir2 yg murah2 sih, jadinya bisa beli banyak, tapi kalo mau baju, tas, sepatu gitu2, rata2 harganya 5000 yen keatas (500rb-an) per item.
    Good luck! :)
